Eternity

I sit alone in silence,

and wonder about things to be.

 I wonder what went wrong,

why together we cannot be.

The stillness in my heart,

Offers me no solace.

The darkness around me,

Accept I must, with grace.

A shoulder to cry on,

A soul who touches me.

You are all these together,

Not binding, I am free.

You set me no limits,

And let me soar so high.

I came back to you, in time, Barreled in, after I touched the sky.

With you, I am me as I should be,

No walls, no masks, none what so ever.

For I know, my heart you see,

That in itself, allures me forever.

I accept you aren’t just mine,

Promises that you have to keep.

Deep down I know it is fine,

Never for this, shall I ever weep.

What we have is eternal,

Lucky few to have found this.

Our lives may be parallel,

Yet, we find our moments of bliss.

I sit alone in silence, and

Wonder about things to be.

One day at a times, My Love,

And then eternally together, we shall be
